  5. Well,  <sigh>  I've  been  around for a long time, trading here & there,
  6. making  friends  with 100's of cool people, pissing off a few people, as
  7. one does and generally enjoying the whole uk scene.

  9. I  go  away  for  a few months, not of my own choice, pine for the scene
  10. manage to get a few calls in here and there, not really knowing what was
  11. going down.

  13. I  come  back  to  a steady line and what do I find, the scene has f'ing
  14. decomposed into a festering piece of shite.

  16. All  I  see  is  traders slagging each other off, SysOps with NO BALLz!?
  17. F'ing  directories  full  of  ANCiENT warez, people upping renamed warez
  18. that  have  been  upped  x5 already, groups disappearing, PBX Crap, lame
  19. SysOp's  who  don't  know  who their users really are (asking for FAST 2
  20. come knocking)...  I've seen some very dodgy a/c's on my travels!

  39. Note to SysOps:  =============== I reckon if you are a sysop, you should
  40. scan  your  users,  delete  anyone  that you don't really know and start
  41. again!   Make  sure you know every of your users real names, their voice
  42. phone  numbers  and  stop  letting new users onto your boards unless you
  43. know 'em, or have it on good authority that they are ok.

  46. cool bbs travels by word of mouth...
